If you like stories with heart, you will love this one! Vandal is a parrot rescued by a kind woman named Nadia, who wants to give him another chance. She loves birds, and after her mother died, she got one as a pet. She saw Vandal at the rescue, and he was upside down and screaming. She was told the parrot was crazy and not to take that one. When she went to his cage, Vandal looked at her and said, “Hello.”

Both the parrot and Nadia needed to be rescued, so she adopted him, which made him so happy. Her husband was not so keen on a pet at first, but when Vandal looked at him and called him “Papa,” his heart melted. Vandal became the fourth child in the family. Unfortunately, Vandal seems to know many swear words, indicating that his previous owner may have been abusive.

Vandal is a beautiful bird with a good heart, and Nadia knows he just needs someone to be patient while learning. Vandal knows when Nadia is not feeling well and helps her get through it. Both of them have something valuable to offer the other, and they care for each other. It is so sweet when she says, “Vandal, you saved me. Thank you for choosing me to be your forever human.”
