A fantastical creature with glowing elements in an outdoor setting during spring or summer.

Art and nature combined, almost as it should be. Australian artist Andy Thomas specializes in creating ‘audio life forms’: beautiful abstract shapes that react to sounds.

In this animated short, he visualizes two recorded bird sounds from the archives of the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision.

In this amazing video, Thomas creates mesmerizing visual symbols for the beautiful language of these two birds. What you see here is sound translated across space and time. Truly a breathtaking sight to behold.
